Ken Scroggs, CEO/President
Ken has been in Property Management since 1982 where he started as a leasing agent on a site in Arvada, Colorado. His career in property management continues to build as he managed several properties for I.C. Baker & Associates in Denver, Colorado. Ken then accepted a position at Balcor Property Management, a subsidiary of Shearson Lehmann/American Express where he managed 3,247 units on 7 properties in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona, Redlands, California and Albuquerque, New Mexico. He also earned a Certified Apartment Property Supervisor Certification from the National Apartment Association, was very active in the Phoenix Apartment Association and taught the CAPS classes for potential candidates. While with Balcor, Ken was assigned the problem properties in the region and infused new life into property operations before handing them back to the Regional Managers respectively. He then went to work for Con-Am Management in Las Vegas, Nevada and managed 1240 units and soon had a portfolio of over 3400 units. There Ken managed properties with market and physical specific problems and brought them back to budgeted cash flow.
He was has been hands on involved with construction, lease-up, turnaround and soft market properties and has had great success in those areas. He has been given several awards such as Property Manager of the Year, Turnaround of the Year, Employee of the Year and Leasing Staff of the Year.
Worked with HUD Section 42 properties with Cohen-Esery Real Estate Company in Topeka, Kansas.
